PA 2850 P/HP/28120 P/HP extraction clamps
Application:
They are used to attach MVCC type cables.
Construction:
- Open outer casing made of corrosion and UV radiation resistant aluminum alloy
- Internal wedge jaws that secure the wire without damaging the insulation are made of plastic
- Opening hook made of hot-dip galvanized steel rod. In the case of PA 2850 P, hook made of stainless steel cable
To avoid problems associated with degradation of the holder and the insulating coating of the wire due to partial discharges, voltage is applied to the tap from the working wire.
Potential equalization system:
The holder is equipped with an insulation-piercing clamp to provide protection against the effects of partial discharge. The clamp is completely waterproof and the aluminum insert allows it to be moved along the hook after installation.
