Heat-shrinkable overhead termination type EUETH
Application:
Termination designed for single-core polyethylene insulated cables of type YH(A)KXS, XH(A)KX(S), XUH(A)KXS, XRUH(A)KXS, NA2XS(F)2Y with rated voltages of 8.7/15 kV, 12/20 kV, and 18/30 kV.
Construction:
- Working conductor terminated with a thick-walled, sealed, crimped or screw lug.
- Electromagnetic field control using a stress cone.
- Cable lug and return conductor sealed with sealing mastic.
- Insulation and outer sheath restored with a thick-walled, UV and tracking resistant heat-shrinkable tube with skirts.
Characteristics:
- Efficient and straightforward installation.
- The termination is suitable for vertical, horizontal, and intermediate positions.
- Installation directly in field conditions, in transformer stations, on poles, or in a workshop.
Composition:
- The kit is designed for three cores. The cardboard packaging contains all the components necessary to assemble the termination, along with installation instructions and a bill of materials.
- The kit does not include working conductor lugs. Lugs can be ordered separately. Kits with lugs are marked with ‘CM’ at the end of the symbol.
